Vanguard Modpack

Required client-side mods for Vanguard Nuclear Option servers. Download the pack, extract it into your game folder, and you are ready for mission night.

Recommended Clean Install

For the cleanest install, back up or remove your old BepInEx\plugins folder before extracting this modpack. This prevents old client-only mods from causing mismatches with the server.

DO NOT USE NOMM AT ALL FOR VANGUARD MISSIONS!

Test Modpack Download

Use this only when joining the Vanguard Test Server or when told to test upcoming modpack changes.

Live mission nights should use the main Vanguard modpack unless told otherwise.

Install Instructions

  1. Open your Default Game Installation folder.
  2. Extract the zip directly into the game root folder.
  3. When asked to merge or overwrite BepInEx files, choose Yes.
  4. Launch Nuclear Option and join the Vanguard server.

Default Game Installation

Most Steam installs are located here:

Steam\steamapps\common\Nuclear Option\

You can also find the correct folder through Steam:

  1. Right-click Nuclear Option in your Steam Library.
  2. Select Manage.
  3. Select Browse Local Files.
  4. Extract the modpack into the folder that opens.

The zip should create or merge into:

BepInEx\plugins\

If Windows asks to overwrite or merge files, choose Yes.

Server Notes

  • Use the current modpack for mission nights.
  • Blueprinter and aircraft/addon versions must match the server.
  • Old versions can cause lobby, faction, or spawn issues.

Troubleshooting

  • If you cannot join, re-download the latest modpack.
  • If faction selection fails, check for extra or outdated mods.
  • If unsure, clear old plugins and reinstall this pack fresh.
